Post-Service Safety Checklist

Brakes are the single most important safety system on your vehicle. That's why every Direct Brakes job — whether it's a brake pad replacement or a full rotor service — ends with a hands-on safety inspection before we hand the keys back.

  • Torque verification on all lug nuts and caliper bolts
  • Brake fluid level check and top-off
  • ABS self-check confirmation
  • Visual inspection of all replaced components
  • Road test to verify pedal feel and stopping performance

Warranty Coverage

We stand behind every repair. Here's exactly what's covered.

What's Covered

Parts and labor on brake pad and rotor replacements for 12 months or 12,000 miles — whichever comes first. Caliper and brake fluid work may carry different terms noted on your invoice.

Invoice = Your Warranty

Your service invoice lists the exact warranty period for each repair performed. Keep it for your records — it's all you need to file a claim.

What's Not Covered

Damage from collisions, road debris, vehicle abuse, aftermarket modifications, or failure to follow recommended brake maintenance intervals.

OEM-Grade Parts

Every job uses parts that meet or exceed original equipment specs. No cheap knock-offs, no corners cut. That's how we can warranty our work with confidence.

How to File a Warranty Claim

Common Warranty Questions

Does the warranty transfer if I sell my car?
No. The warranty applies to the original customer and vehicle serviced. It is not transferable.
What if I need service outside Sioux Falls?
We service Sioux Falls, Brandon, Tea, and Harrisburg. If you've moved outside our service area, contact us to discuss options.
Do you warranty battery replacements?
Yes. Battery replacements carry a separate warranty period noted on your invoice — typically matching the battery manufacturer's coverage.
I lost my invoice. Can I still file a claim?
We keep records of all services. Email us your name, approximate service date, and vehicle info and we'll pull it up.
